20 female J’pura Uni students suspended

More than 20 female students of the Sri Jayawardenapura University have been temporarily suspended for organizing protest campaigns around the island and causing unrest according to the University authorities, convener of the Jayawardenapura University Students Union Venerable Kamburugamuwe Gnanessara stated.
He further stated that another male student had been arrested by the Mirihana Police over false accusations as part of the government’s attempt to suppress the university student movement. A protest against these incidents will be conducted today ( June 8 ) outside the University premises.

Knowledge is power, but one should know how to use it. Srilanka doesn’t need knowledge, too many people are living in Srilanka who has the knowledge to run the country.
Srilanka needs time to become the nation which God desires, a nation where all communities live together under one message, thai is make sure that each one’s neighbour does well in life, look to see the needs of others whom they accociate with daily, this is opposite to the way world is going at the moment, whcih is to take care of the needs of each person, this is very selfish, this type approch to life has brought us recession, unemployment and depression.
Srilanka should work on showing the world, the new age of living, those days being selfish has gone in Srilanka, it is not how much I want, it is how much I can help my neighbour. I pray that Srilanka is not divided by tamil or sinaglese, or any other nationality, there is only one nationality in Srilanka, and that nationality is called ‘Love your neighbour’. if we can apply this way of living, Srilanka will become the nation that defeats recession, unemployment, above all depression, all these three factors are taking over the world at the moment. In order for Srilanka to apply this new way of living the country needs the cooperation of all the citzens of Srilanka, with out the cooperation of each person this mission will fail, so let us do it friends, start to help your neighbour in any way you can, each day try to bless another person, don’t negelect small begining, it will gather momentum, Rome was not build in a day. Let is do it friends, let us change the world for the better, let us work together to bring God’s Kingdom on Earth.

These young women have become pawns of the JVP who are very active in Universities through forming unions and inter university student unions. They are the unfortunate victims who have lost their way through brainwashing of JVP professionals in the universities. The students’ parents hopes for a better future for their children have been dashed. All their hardwork is now invain. I hope the government will work to identify the political masters behind student unrest and clap them in prison instead of the victims.
