COVID-19 death in Sri Lanka

212 COVID-19 deaths were confirmed for August 27, increasing the death toll to 8,583.

109 males and 103 females were among the victims.

173 of the victims are senior citizens aged above 60 years, 37 victims were aged between 30-59 and 02 victims aged below 30.
