Budget 2019 passed in Parliament

The third reading of the 2019 Budget was passed in Parliament with a majority of 45 votes.119 members voted in favor while 74 voted against.
The United National Front (UNF) and the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) voted in favor of the Budget.
Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) and the Joint Opposition voted against the budget.
However, the United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) MPs abstained from voting.

Well, salute JVP. TNA is on a mission hanging on the tail of the elephant in pursuit of their dream land!
The JVP voted against the Budget.
The TNS voted for the Budget to ensure Parliamentary approval.
Had the TNA voted against the Budget, it is not only the people whom it represents that will suffer but the entire nation.
I support the decisions of the JVP (voting against) and the TNA (voting for) in this matter.
The JVP stood on its principles adn the TNA considered national impact.
All this confusion araises from the SLFP Chairman’s (HE the King) decision to dump the joint Yahapalana Government in Oct 2018 despite having agreed to work together with the UNP for 5 years.
The joint government in Yahapalana was overhelmingly supported by the voters in Jan and Aug 2015.
Once a cut throat, always a cut throat and that describes our HE the King.
Yahapanaya came about with RW and My3 but RW robbed the Central Bank and carried on borrowing from the same people who he accused MR of borrowing excessively. RW is a selfish cunning man who will end up selling the country. Like the Port that had rock that made it useless but the Chinese managed to make a health profit from the white elephant????.
