The British voters of Sri Lankan Tamil origin are the driving force behind the spectacular performance of PM Cameron while in SL for CHOGM.
Politicians will go to any extent if they can grab a block vote at the next hustings.
Mr Cameron’s CHOGM performance is similar to that of Hon Thevarruperuma, MP, who lunged at the party leader in the parliament premises. Hon Thevarruperuma is today a local hero in his electorate and so is Mr Cameron.
Anoma , your comparison of Cameron to Thevarapperuma and that both are local heroes in their electorates need careful investigation. Our man is from the Kalutara District famous for the Revival of Buddhism in Ceylon.Buddhists will never condone violence and hatred in their leaders.Thevarapperuma will not be a hero even amongst his political rivalries.
