Court orders police to record statement from Gotabaya Rajapaksa

The Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court has ordered the Fort Police to record a statement from former Sri Lanka President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
Magistrate Thilina Gamage accordingly ordered the Fort Police to obtain a statement from the former President of Sri Lanka in connection with the investigations into the sum of Rs. 17.8 million found by protesters inside the President’s House on 09th July, 2022.
