Hirunika will throw a party for this verdict as she’s been rightfully struggling for this outcome for many years.
The 1/4th brain this guy had before the event was fixed to a 1/16th brain by specialists in Singapore following the disastrous event. The loss of life in gallows will not affect society in any manner; in fact, we as a society will be better off without this guy in our midst.
3 hearty cheers for Hirunika’s efforts and perseverance; greatly admired. keep going Girl, we admire you.
Once proven by a fair and open trial, it is fine.
Indra,
You would like a ‘open and fair tial’, is it?
Dear Indra, that can only be delivered by foreign judges, my dear.
Former monitoring MP of the Ministry of Defence Duminda Silva and 4 others were sentenced to death by the Colombo High Court today in a divided judgement over the Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra murder.
Premachandra was murdered in 2011.
In October 2011, Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa had said that Silva was not his man, but was former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s ‘man.’
He had made this statement to both Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra and former Prime Minister Rathnasiri Wickamanayake.
Informed sources said that Just before his murder, Premachandra had complained to President MR that Duminda Silva had given a contract to underworld thugs to murder him. President Rajapaksa had subsequently ordered the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to investigate the alleged murder plot. Two underworld gangsters who were in police custody at that time had given statements to the CID confirming the murder plot.
hope that all cases will finish this way and all culprits and murderers will get what they deserve
When one used to kiss foreign a—s for generations for living and deprive the rights of the majority to have a good life and privileges for some centuries, it become the way of life and the nome in later generations.
This innocent man should be released soon.
Indra,
It appears you are visibly hurt by my comments.
Can you please point to me two or even one, Chief Justice or Judge of the Higher Courts or Lower Courts or Magistrates who have not indulged in corruption in the past 20 years?
Mr Somasundaram, are you saying the foreign judges are not corrupted. In the USA the judges have sentenced innocents blacks to death and the white cops are never guilty. What part of the world are you living?
Dont worry, the President will pardon him. This is all Bolywood.
Hi Malathi Chandrani Di Vilma, Please do not count chicken before they hatched! Though this guy Duminda is condemn to death he might win in an Appeal. Anything can happan. Also remember, Hirunika’s father too was a “drug-lord’ (though you can’t justify the assassination). Then, What is going to happen to the case of Kidnapping a youth by Hirunika’s thugs from Hirunika’s Black Defender? De Vilma any update on this matter?
Elegant news for public, moreover pls consider the same punishment for those who destroyed around 40,000 innocent civilians in the last phase of war.most probably mahinda and co must be punished, as they are the prime accuse.
