Employees’ Pension Fund to be established

An Employees’ Pension Fund for the benefit of all private and public sector employees who are not covered by any form of pension scheme to be set up, President said a short while ago. The Employee and Employer are expected to contribute 2% and a minimum of at least 10 years of contribution to be entitled to the pension.

this will be very good for privet sector employees who are having unsafe retired life. and forign employees also must be included to this plans who are doing invaluble service to the economy of the country.
I appreciate his excellency president Mahinda Rajapaksa’s idea to be set up a new pension scheme for all employees including private sector. We should have a proper pension scheme for all employees for their better future.
