Eppawala quadruple murder suspect hands himself in

A suspect in the Eppawala quadruple murder has handed himself over to the Thambuttegama police today evening. It has been revealed that the individual is a retired member of the security forces, police spokesman SP Ajith Rohana stated.
Meanwhile police has also recovered the axe used in the murders. The bodies of the victims have been placed at the Anuradhapura Hospital for postmortem examinations.
Four individuals of the same family had been murdered last night in Katiyawa, Yaya 01, Eppawala.
It is rumored that the murders had been carried over a land dispute.
