Four killed, 36 injured in separate accidents at Dambulla

At least four people were killed and more than 36 injured in three separate accidents at Dambulla last night. Police said three persons travelling on a motorbike were killed when the bike collided with a lorry in the Dambulla town.
In another accident a passenger was died when a private bus on the Colombo- Dehiattakandiya road skidded off near Pelwehera. Twenty-eight passengers were injured in the accident.
In yet another incident eight passengers were injured when a van skidded off the Dambulla-Trincomalee road near Mirisgoniyawa.
The injured were admitted to the Dambulla Base Hospital.
