Gnanasara Thero denied leave to appeal sentence

The Court of Appeal today rejected Venerable Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thero’s application for leave to appeal his sentence.
The Court of Appeal was of the view that there was no legal grounds for the application.
However, the Counsel for Ven. Gnanasara Thera said an appeal will be filed directly at the Supreme Court by way of Special Leave to Appeal.

The Ven Galgoda Atthe Gnanasara, the conscience of the Sinhala Buddhist Population, should not only be in Parliament as a special MP but also be a member of Constitutional Council, sitting member of the Supreme and Appeal courts.
It is only after that will Sinhala Buddhist be redeemed.

YP Gvt is keen on puting Buddhist monks behind bars. Hope in the near future voters will send Ven Gananasara to the parliament so he can get the s***t out of uneducated parliamentarians in Sri Lanka.
