I was not warned of Easter Sunday attacks – Maithripala

Former President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday told Parliament that he had received no prior information about the Easter Sunday attacks and that he would have done everything in his power to stop the attacks if he had received a warning.
“I am not a monster to just let such an attack take place. It was the duty of the police to arrest NTJ leader Zahran Hashim and others. It is not the duty of the President. The PCoI on Easter Sunday attacks should have investigated why the Police had failed to do so.”
The former government must take collective responsibility of the terror attacks and it is necessary to investigate the weaknesses that prevailed at that time, Sirisena said.

Maithreepala is an honest person. Now laymen citizens in the country have understood his value in governance .He is not perfect, but did in best.

The Pambaya is an not an honest person. The gem deals which he struck while in office show corruption max.
He was intoxicated with the powers of his office while having zero political acumen.
In fact, his IQ is in the low order.
He betrayed the powers following his hopper clout in Temple Trees in 2015.
He will pay a terrible price for that action

The R family were sent in to rule by a significant sector the majority population.
There is some magic in their appeal, in their strategy and in their tactics which draws people to them.
There is some unexplained attraction towards them.
However, as always, the coterie surrounding the rulers is the body which causes the mess. As rulers, it is impossible to do everything by yourself but have to rely on others for delivery. It is impossible to find sincere, honest and logical persons to undertake the delivery of Govt.
The Pambaya is a supreme egotist with zero leadership credentials.
