IS terrorism will be eradicated from Sri Lanka – PM

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe vowed to hunt down any remaining Islamic State extremists behind the deadly Easter bombings in Sri Lanka.
He said some of the conspirators in the April 21 bombings of three hotels and three luxury hotels may still be at large.
“Most of those responsible for the Easter attacks have been arrested. Some have been killed,” Wickremesinghe said Friday during a tour of island’s east, where a Christian church was hit.
“We are trying to see if there are any more secret IS cells in the country,” he said. “We will ensure that IS terrorism will be eradicated from our land.”
He hoped normality would return by Monday when public schools reopen after an extended Easter vacation.

RW and CBK brought Pallewatte Gamralage Yapa Sirisena into the scene to defeat MR as he is a cut-throat extraordinary; they wanted a blue guy to oppose MR to ensure his downfall.

RW will nominate a UNP Presidential Candidate (not son of RP), most likely to be Karu J who is likely to accepted by the minorities. And RW will remain powerful in the political field ensuring his capitalist economic policies and security of nation supported by US.
This will go on for 10 years and the nation will change forever.

Dear Ranil, hope you are right this time. However going by your track record of how you failed miserably to defeat LTTE terrorism, i.e. how you placed total faith in LTTE and agreed for multiple ceasefire agreements that were basically LTTE’s (and their Norwegian “Ceasefire Broker” supporters’) way of taking you for gullible rides, rides that would see hundreds of our defense personnel and civilians getting ambushed and massacred each time LTTE very advantageously broke those ceasefire agreements, well, I for one am very skeptical that you are the right man for this job. Besides, the recent discovery of large quantities of NTJ’ explosives and detonators, discoveries long before the Easter Sunday massacre of which you had full knowledge of and still appeared to have done nothing (perhaps because there are powerful Muslim ministers/supporters on whom you are dependent for Muslim vote collections?) tells me this whole national security and security intelligence business is not your strength, but in fact an abysmal failure!
