Why UNHR commissioner is shy to meet the joint opposition?
The joint opposition is the mouthpiece of former strongman and thug MaRa. Why should the UN Rep give them an audience when he fully well knows what happened during the 10 year rule of MaRa? He is not going to hear anything new. You rogues together with your counterparts in the joint government stop rocking the boat in parliament. Give Mr Clean, Ranil to run the country as a civilised society with the assistance of the current president. Whatever you guys try is not going to bring MaRa and Gota back.
Mr Udurawana, It is a normal practice for UNHR commissioner to meet the opposition. We all know there is no use to bring MR back and that is not a solution. I also do not see Ranil as Mr. Clean. He has to wash Batalanda mud too.
why call yourself joint opposition as opposed to opposition. this is as bad as the yahapalanya
they can wait for the next blue moon or meet him in the hereafter life
Basic foundation of our legal system ( Roman Dutch Law ) is ” Audi alteram partem ” ( hear / listen to the other party )
It is the principle of fundamental justice or the principle of natural justice in most of the other legal systems around the world.
A similar principle can also be found in Islamic Law based on a Hadith indicating that in litigation all parties involved must be heard.
The prince although a Muslim himself has shown ( so far ) that he has no principles.
AUJ,
Being an ardent supporter of the former strongman MaRa and his crooked regime, with a supremist mind set, it is no wonder that you are picking on the Prince as having no priciples. It is this supremist mind set that has prevented the country progressing since independence. Compare Lanka with Singapore and Malaysia. Where are we compared to them. Being an octonarian and educated you ought to have a better understanding of what is right and what is wrong. With the change in power it appears your former pal ND too seems to have stopped blogging for lack of supporters of the former thugish regime.
