Make sure Bond Mahendran is issued with a Ministry Credit Card so that he can buy the LKR 1m suits when he goes overseas at taxpayer expense, in First Class Air Travel, thrown in !! Also, the Ministry Credit Card will be handy to pay for his lunch which costs the taxpayer LKR 28,000 per day.
From where are all these information obtained about Mahendren when even the bill rights to information is not in place
Since he was posted to be the governor of the Cental Bank under dubious circumstances we have under the recently enacted right to information law to know what his real qualifications for this post. We have been told that he worked for the central bank for 10 years or so. There must be some record of what he had done or not done besides being a pen pusher or a glorified peon serving the bosses in crafting and grafting files.
What are his academic qualifications and who awarded this and when. Obviously he must have written papers that would have involved simulations whose analysis would go beyond the 5th standard arithmetic of adding subtracting multiplication and division.
These are necesssary if he is to make any contribution to his new post and i strongly intellectualy he is generations behind in modelling ….not for suits he would have picked up from the salvation army or goodwill stores!
Birds of feather flocks to gather.
