Well done Mahinda, you have demonstrated capability of dealing with the complex personalities in the UNHRC and the President of Sri Lanka and the population have placed a great trust in your abilities.
At this year’s sessions of the UNHRC you have a free reign; there will be no professors peaking over your shoulder. There will be no LTT agents occupying important positions in the UN representing our land. Ravinatha will definitely give you a helping hand.
We wish you the best Hon Mahinda, may the triple gem bless you in your endeavours. We will wait for you at the BIA to receive the rubbish bin containing the resolution proposed imperialist forces
Can I suggest that Hon President appoint Shenali Waduge also to the team to represent SL at the UNHRC conference to argue a strong case in defence of SL position against the biased attacks of USA and the neo-colonialist imperial West.
May you enjoy the benefits of taking all your kith and kin also with you on this world tour holiday. Happy holidays

COMMENT:
Yes, you can also send the CENSORED Sena and their hooligan supporters. Then you can update the UNHCR on the Sri Lanka History, based on research given below.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sinhalese_people
Studies looking at the origin of the Sinhalese have been contradictory. Older studies suggest a predominantly Sri Lankan Tamil contribution followed by a significant Bengali contribution with no North Western Indian contribution,[42][43] while more modern studies point towards a predominantly Bengali contribution and a minor Tamil and North Western Indian (Gujarati & Punjabi) contribution.[44][45][46] Multiple studies have found no significant genetic difference between the Sinhalese and the three other major ethnic groups in Sri Lanka (Sri Lankan Tamil, Indian Tamil and Sri Lankan Moor).[43][47][48][49][50][51]
It is debatable whether the Sri Lankan population have genetic links to Far East Asian populations however due to their close links to North East India, there is a likelihood of some traces of East Asian genes.[52][5
In the USA, there is SEPARATION of CHURCH and STATE. This was the WISDOM of Thomas Jefferson. He studied European History well. Even in the USA many fundamental christian wanted to repeal the Separation of Church and State clause to their advantage, but failed. However Western haegmony has not changed. Imagine a superpower with a fundamentalist religious agenda and the horrors it can inflict, like the Spanish and the Portuguese 500 years ago.
The problem Sri Lanka has is that there is NO separation of Church and State. Same in Wahabi Arabia. Instead of being Sri Lanka , they want to say they are Sinhalese Buddhists, and the original native Hindu Inhabitants do not count in their ethano religious equation, as promoted by the monks. This is NOT the Buddhism taught by the great teacher Buddha, who showed the scientific method.
Sri Lanka WAS a Hindu Country Before the advent of Buddhism, and the original natives were Hindu and other. Buddhism was imported like all the other religions, including Hinduism. In India and elsewhere, initially, Buddhism expanded at the expense of Hinduism.
The Monk, Mahaname invented Ethano-religious Sinhalese Buddhism to protect Buddhism and the monks position in the society. The monk also introduced myths, like Buddha travelling to the Island, meeting Vijaya, and Vijaya was the grandson of a lion etc.
This is the core problem in Sri Lanka, and is being paraded very frequently by many Sihala Buddhist writers, politicians and monks.
One needs to apply the scientific method taught by Buddha and perfected by Galileo, to comprehend the issues in Sri Lanka and the underlying Ethano religious issues in Sri Lanka.
Ask the simple Question, Why are there hardly any Sinhalese Hindus or Tamil Buddhists in Sri LANKA?
I think Insula’s idea is terrific. The Bodhu Bala Sena must be included in SL’s team to the UNHCR. The BBS can be of immense help in countering any traitorous move by India aginst our land.
Insula, youre 100% correct, Shenali will never admit about the original Hindu native inhabitants in Sri Lanka. It is a fact, but anyway my personal view is, lets unite and defend Sri Lanka.
Quote-from Tamara Kunanayakam:We have put ourselves in a position of weakness and the stage is set for a consensus resolution, in which Sri Lanka is against Sri Lanka!
Our country and people need a vision to restore its historical role, a long-term strategy that is in their interest, a correct analysis of the international situation, geopolitics and geostrategy, consistency and convincing arguments, and the means to defend its millenary values. Today, we may be a step closer to regime change, but the country is not disarmed; it is gifted with women and men of quality, patriots, capable of confronting this renewed threat to its sovereignty, unprecendented in its gravity since independence was won in 1948!
My dear Jayraj. srilanka can not unite and defend with bloody tamil tigers and Gay ranil Wickramasinghe…
