‘Makandure Madush’ arrested in Dubai
Notorious Sri Lankan underworld kingpin ‘Makandure Madush’ and 25 suspects have been arrested with narcotics at a hotel in Dubai.
The suspects were reportedly arrested in a joint operations carried out by law enforcement officers from both Sri Lanka and Dubai.
The police noted that the arrested group includes five main-stream drug peddlers. Four of them have already been identified. The arrested individuals include Kanchipani Imran and Keselwatte Dinuka.
A popular Sri Lankan singer is also among the arrested group.
Samarasinghe Arachchige Madush Lakshitha alias Makandure Madush is an underworld gang leader, who has been in hiding abroad for the past couple of years.
He allegedly operates his drug network, extortion rackets and other criminal activities through his accomplices in Sri Lanka.

How is that most of the drug king pins hide in Dubai? May I know the name of the prominent politician who owns buildings in Dubai.
he should be punished according to the rules of that country in that country Dubai authorities should not send him here, because he will be free to do his business once again.

If he comes back here, he will either be made a Minister in the New UNP National Government or a leader in the JO (where many of his pals are there) or be made a Presidential Adviser in the Secretariat (again with many friends) and be given Official Residence at Visumpaya.
He may even be made Head of Unit for the Drug Dealer Capital Punishment Branch which is promoted by the King.
Whatever it is is, when he lands in SL, he is bound to become an important person.
