August is a critical time for our nation.
The UNP is meeting on the 5th to announce its coalition.
The SLPP is meeting on the 11th to induct MR as the boss of SLPP and also, announce its Presidential Candidate.
Anyone from the SLFP including MR who joins SLPP will lose their seat in Parliament.
Sirisena, as the lame duck leader of the SLFP, has no say whatsoever in forward movements.
A majority of SLFPers are likely to join the UNP as they have no future whatsoever in the SLFP.
The SLFPers may officially coalesce with SLPP but will be sent to the backrooms by the loud mouthed bully-boys in the SLPP.
The UNP is a better place to be in for the SLFPers.
