Three hearty cheers for His Excellency for bringing instant relief to the masses.
Bureaucrats in the Treasury are only interested in satisfying the hunger of loan sharks like IMF and World Bank. They have no feelings of the suffering imposed on the masses by these imperialist agencies.
We should invite the Packer guy and offer him honorary citizenship so that he can build casinos in every major city to increase Government revenue to support ailing instituions such as Electricity Board, Mihin Lanka, Air lanka, Mattala Rajapaksa Airport and the Hambantota Harbour. When the gambling revenue comes rolling in, we can distrbute energy to the masses at low rates.

A thief enters a house. He tries to steal a lot of things. The poor owner of the poor house says, please don’t take away my things. I need these to live.
Pretty soon the neighbors gather and protest, and they all find they all are being robbed. The neighbors threaten to beat up the thief. The thief brings his goons and thugs and there is a standoff.
The the thief announces, I will take away items that are worth more than Rs.60.
The goons and thugs of the thief cheer!
I wonder how Amerasiri edited a story like real one.absolutely right.
As you said the thief tried to steel things from publics not even from their own families, then the thief realized that if I steel things this time from publics, they well aware of it and get in to roads again and protest and fire me, so what this cunning thief done is, in a public day this thief said and promised that i will not steel to now and lets see in future in any other different corners ok.
now the joke is , these silly publics still believes that this thief realized what he stole in past and now getting rid from this and being good now,
but is it possible to straighten the dog’s tail??
