The US Embassy in Sri Lanka denied recent reports in media stating that U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has invited the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) for discussion in Washington, DC and affirmed that an invitation had been extended only to External Affairs Minister G.L. Peiris.
Secretary Clinton invited Minister G.L. Peiris to Washington on May 18 and welcomes that visit, the US Embassy stated.
“While the United States seeks to engage with all political parties in Sri Lanka, there is no visit scheduled for the TNA, either before or after that meeting,” the Embassy said in a release today (03).

Why this US seeks to “Engage” in srilankan politics…?
Engaging of Srilankans are ENOUGH in politics…! Enough is ENOUGH…!!!
Ha, ha, this meeting has already taken place many times. With new technology, people do no have to travel to other countries for meetings. Face to face meetings are held over video-link.
The US is visibly determined to break up SL. They have induced India to join them in this venture with the promise of elevating India to become a SE Asian superpower. With the misfortunes affecting the Congress Party, US interest in India is a godsend to the Congress Party at the next elections.
The US will achieve their intentions in the next four years in Barrack Obama’s second term. As Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton will also perform best because she is aiming to be the President after Barrack Obama’s second term.
I hope Sajin Vass G, SL’s Foreign Policy Guru will understand pressures in the international community.
Oh yes, its started now. Govt should not accept such things as this is the point they are going to start fingering. If GL goes its Govt-side and then they will take steps ahead to invite the rest of the people such as TNA or whoever so in a way they will defined methods to pressurize the govt.
I think all parties should take a decision for the country sake and avoid such visits. Instead go as one entity by taking one word towards. Lets see how our Govt take this crucial decision.
still she is beautiful.I make things happen if time permits for both.
