Soon there will be a university in all towns of Sri Lanka. So just like a factories producing sub slandered goods, the so called universities creating unemployed and unskilled graduates who are employed in cleaning toilets and sweeping roads in foreign countries will not be produced hereafter.
Excuse my ignorance and please some one explain me how they or what difference they going to make to achieve these slandered.
So, a new university in Kalutara?
Already Universities producing > 20,000 unemployable graduates per year.
According to the wisdom in the ‘Vision of Prosperity’, no more unemployed graduates to be produced.
This Minister appears to have gone bonkers. He should get tested for Covid 19; appears to have hit his brain.
This speech indicates he does know what he is talking about.
After all, he is the one who wanted to build a USD 40m Cricket Stadium while the pandemic is raging.
Mr. Gamini, You don’t get the point. More universities mean more graduates. Eventually, all folks in Sri Lanka will be graduates. Then there is a possibility that these 225 duds in Diyawanna will be graduates. Thereafter, no one will blame them for not passing even GCE (OL). This is called ‘Vision’. Got it?
Yes, I do get the point Mr Amarakoon.
Thank you for enlightning me.
Hope they add universities in Kurunegala, Polonnaruwa, Galgamuwa, Anuradhapura, Mahiyangane, Matale,
Medawachchiya, Puttalam, Bibile, Badulla, Ratnapura, Habarane, Pottuvil, Balangoda, Negombo, Maho, Habarana, Dambulla, Horuwapotana, Vavuniya, Kekirawa, Monaragala and Beruwala.
According to Ranjith, Sri Lanka will thereafter be the premium supplier of graduate toilet cleaners and road sweepers to the World.
MAmarakoon. The 225 duds (donkey bollocks) you mentioned haven’t had the primary education but the minimum qualification they need to be a Gardner to cut grass in the parliament was “A” level.
Anyway to produce employable graduates these are the some of courses these so called universities should offer.
How to drive a “tuk” “tuk”
How to run a brothel.
How to sweep roads. ( Jobs available instantly in Middle East and in Europe. mainly in airports)
How to clean toilets in Australia UK. and USA
How to produce illicit liqueur
How to be a drug dealer.
How to pick pockets.
How to be a politician.
List goes on.
