Those who pick pockets had their day at Nawaloka Hospital yesterday when a thief managed to pinch a purse of a young man during the rush when former army commander Sarath Fonseka was taken out of hospital after he was discharged.
A young man said his purse was pinched by some one during the commotion.
He suspected that some one had stolen his purse when people came forward near the lift to get a glimpse of former Army Commander when he was coming out of it.
Even the media personnel crushed and pushed about during the rush.
