Police and CID investigate the incident involving the Swiss embassy officer

The Police and the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) have launched probes into the alleged incident of a local staff member of the Embassy of Switzerland in Sri Lanka being threatened, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs says.
The government of Switzerland has called on Sri Lankan authorities to conduct a proper investigation into the said incident.
On Wednesday, the Swiss Foreign Ministry (FM) confirmed the incident and told swissinfo.ch in a written statement that the woman was threatened in order to force her to disclose “embassy-related information”.
Switzerland promptly yesterday reported the incident to the Sri Lankan authorities and demanded an immediate and complete investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Wow, a bizarre story!
Here there is, supposedly, a woman who has been “kidnapped” and “threatened” etc. and the Swiss make a big hue and cry about it, but they would not permit SL Police/CID to interview this “victim” !!! Wow, is that stupendous and mindboggling or what ???
I smell a rat here…this all looks like another Ch4 type of concoction!

I can understand if it was the US Govt that was lying because the US Govt is headed by, we know who?
It is not the Swiss Govt. per se that is in question here, but the manner in which the Swiss embassy in Colombo is handling this issue! So far the embassy is not giving access for CID to meet this so called victim and record a statement from her! Wow!
I agree this seems to be only a tiny part of a much, much bigger design by anti-Gotabaya, anti-Sri Lanka elements that want to bring Gota and the present govt. down by hook or by crook! And to think they have only a tiny budget to do that is wholly unwise as it appears these elements are very well funded with deep pockets! For example, today I heard that funding for certain former CID big-wigs’ (who were actively involved in charging and imprisoning war-winning Ranavirus) relatives to build multiple luxury houses appears to have now been traced to remittances from certain Tamil diaspora organizations!
Looks like the rot here runs very deep and is in need of a massive but surgical cleanup!
