A breakdown in electricity supply is experienced in several parts of Sri Lanka.
This is due to a breakdown in the power transmission line from the Kotmale Power Station to the Biyagama Power Station.
According to reports, the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) Trade Union Alliance said due to the ongoing work-to-rule campaign, no one will be present to restore the power.
