The relatively unsophisticated Sri Lankans have been taken for a long ride by a lot of people, including by the successful and wealthy Tamil diaspora who want their pound of flesh. The criminal minds who financed and propped up this vicious terrorist group operated from the safety of Western locations like London, Toronto, Paris, New York, DC and the like. Unfortunately many gullible bleeding hearts, including from Norway, helped create legitimacy for their extreme violence. They should some day realize that they helped create the pioneer of modern terrorism. Sri Lankan watchers will know what I mean.I am sure we will see comments here from apologists for this nihilist terrorist group. Some of them come with Ivy League credentials and say all the right things about human rights, genocide etc. They carefully hide the evil they have unleashed on their own kind back home because they genuinely believe some of the falsehoods they propagate. To them I say, please, try to wipe hatred from your eyes and try to work for an end to these long cycles of violence.
Soon you have to say condolence to our country too. Before that hope people will wake up.
