President Mahinda Rajapaksa donates Rs.1 m to Rizana’s family

President Mahinda Rajapaksa has donated one million rupees to Rizana’s family today at Temple Trees, a presidential media spokesman said. The donation was made when Rizana’s mother met the President today at Temple Trees.
The President has also offered Rizana’s brother a job at the Trincomalee Foreign Employment Bureau.

The point is, Indra, we do not value human rights in our land. When we are born, we are born with the right to live and a right to pursue happiness. This right is God given.
But it is for human beings to enforce and safeguard these right. We as a nation, have failed to do this.
And that is where the problem arises.

LTTE during the war mostly muslims peoples are suffered much more because of they stand always Sri lanka goverments side.
We must analyze this incidents very intelligently . why this happened to this poor girl ?? she has taken a brave step to go to middle east to take care of the family at under age ?? she has a father and a brother what they are doing ?? how come any family come out from this situation by earning a law salary from middle east ?? how many Sri Lankan women in the middle east with drastic problems ?? this incident become famous b’cos of the age of the victim and the death sentence . there are many women there in middle east living dead . without any help from any body . all governments are just making money out from them . but no proper action has been taken to stop sending women as servants. There are many things can be done in order to make the situation rectify .when mother is not at home family will face very big problems. This will affect the entire society . father start drinking , children get abandoned. ultimately whole family will be in trouble instead of prosperity they expected by sending mother /wife /sister . by giving one million or two million from the TAX PAYERS money is just to gain the popularity will not do any good to the future issues. ( good that this has done at least from people’s money )but Government must seek permanent and prevailing solutions to this menace . they must create job opportunities within the country . development of garments industry /agriculture industry will make more and more opportunities .but should give a good recognition to them. this will help to minimize sending mothers /daughters / sisters /wives . this is just a brief explanation can write more but useless with the political leaders who do something for expecting only the votes.
