President to meet Negombo / Chilaw fishermen today

President Mahinda Rajapaksa will meet with the representatives of the fisheries organizations in the Negombo and Chilaw areas in order to solve their problems. The meeting will be held at the Temple Trees today.
The President has made this decision when His Eminence Cardinal Dr. Malcolm Ranjith and the reverend Fathers of Negombo and Chilaw met him at Temple Trees yesterday. His Eminence Cardinal has appreciated the President for discussing with him about the fishermen’s problem of Negombo and Chilaw. He said that at this meeting the President pledged to give expeditious solutions to the problems of the fishermen. (niz) .
