Private bus strike in WP

Private Bus Operators Association said that private buses in the Western Province mainly on the High Level road and some 50 more sub routes have launched a strike over issuing route permits.
President of the Association Gemenu Wijeratne said that bus operators on the Avissawella – Pettah (122), Padukka –Pettah (125), Ingiriya – Pettah (125), Maharagama – Pettah (138), Homagama – Pettah (138), Kottawa – Pettah (138), Athurugiriya – Pettah (138), Rukmalagama – Pettah (138), Mattegoda – Pettah (138), Kottawa – Yakahaluwa(128), Kottawa – Pettah (129) routes.. have launched the strike.
Due to the strike many people including school children were caused great inconvenience, our reporters said.

They are striking because there are will be few new buses on the road?
Dear government, Please Defeat these Private bus Terrorists. These people dont deserve to own their buses. Please Confiscate all the striking buses and give them to non-terrorist people.
