Former Sri Lanka batting great Kumar Sangakkara has become the latest cricketer to enroll for the draft of the inaugural edition of the Twenty20 Pakistan Super League (PSL), which is scheduled to be held next year in Dubai and Sharjah.
“Sangakkara is a world-class sportsman and we are excited to welcome him on board,” Najam Sethi, the head of PSL was quoted as saying by ESPNcricinfo.
Sethi also said that the left-hander brings a wealth of experience to the PSL, adding that his inclusion would make the player draft even more exciting.
The glittering tournament will feature international superstars like Kevin Pietersen, Chris Gayle, Lasith Malinga, Luke Wright and Tim Bresnan.
