Speaker recognizes Mahinda as Opposition Leader

Speaker Karu Jayasuriya had accepted the appointment of former president Mahinda Rajapaksa as the Opposition Leader of Parliament, Deputy Speaker Ananda Kumarasiri informed parliament today.
