Special meeting of party leaders to convene virtually

Sri Lanka’s Parliament Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena has decided to call a virtual meeting of political party leaders at 3:00 PM today (May 11).
The current political state in the country, and the upcoming Parliament week will be discussed at this meeting.
On Tuesday (May 10), the Speaker decided to cancel the party leaders meeting citing security concerns of MPs.
