DAMBULLA, Sri Lanka (AP)—Sri Lanka beat India by seven wickets in the final Asia Cup preliminary-round match at Rangiri Dambulla Stadium on Tuesday.
Put into bat, India was dismissed for 209. Sri Lanka reached its target with 12.3 overs to spare.
Scores: Sri Lanka 211-3 in 37.3 overs (Kumar Sangakkara 73, Mahela Jayawardene 53 not out, Zaheer Khan 2-42) def. India 209 in 42.3 overs (Rohit Sharma 69, Farveez Maharoof 5-42) by seven wickets.
