Making a special statement in parliament, R. Sampanthan says that there are two opposition leaders as Speaker has not removed him from the position.
He mentioned this at the parliamentary session today (19).

So, current regime and its Speaker have created one Opposition Leader for the South and one Opposition Leader for the North.
Soon there will be one PM for the South and one PM for the North.
