Finally they had the guts to get one, the weakest of the lot. Hopefully more is to come. Which one of them is to be arrested for masterminding the death of Thajudeen, this brat or Namal baby? It appears to be the latter when most of us thought it was the former due to the involvement of his former girl friend. The way to go Lanka. Arrest the lot and put them into the same cell as Gnanasara thero.
The former crooks having infiltered the joint government are still playing havoc! Politics, Srilanka style while the rest of the civilised world still laughing at us.!
Yoshitha is a pitiable human being. The only fault I can pinpoint is that he was unfortunately born as a Rajapaksa.
I think being a member of the Rajapaksa family is a tragic experience. Imagine the atmosphere at the Rajapaksa home. It’s eternally about power, about winning, about dealing with competitors, about amassing wealth, about taming the challengers.
It is that disgusting power crazed home atmosphere which most likely, made Yoshitha what he is, at present.
What’s the point in leaving the courtroom with bloated eyes and tears, when the parent has failed miserably in his role as a parent.
People who are responsible for this guys are his Dady and then the Navy top brass. This guy is only the fall guy. Were there any protests by Navy high command ….no. Then by the government guys in the ministry for release of funds and in addition for doing the paper work. When people work in collusion the who system stinks and the only way to correct this is to remove a lot of these guys and tried for treason for thier acts are treasonable.
Hopefully the vacancies created revolutionary action will be filled by people of similar aspirations and will defeat the purpose. This is only the start targeting the Rajapakses and appears to be popular for not by the majority of the electorate just as much Sirisena/Ranil attitude towards Ven Gnanasara, In the sort of democracy that we have will be reflected in the next election.
This is the litmus test for future developments and the Sirisena/Ranil gets away with these then the Yahapalanaya will evlve into an autocratic government in that they will have have a constitution in name for they will include clauses that will allow the Sirisena/Ranil extraordinary powers to do what they will and the people will be none the wiser and freedom of the press will only be by name!
As is he has managed only ravi to don a colonial tie coat soon he will get others to do so to create a class of legislators on its own and then parliamentery proceedings in English ….to follow the leader.
Imagine Sirisena in tie coat
Ganja,
Why sympathise for the lot. Mind you MaRa was once the champion for human rights. What happened? The right place for the lot is in a prison cell with Gnasara Thero, Sajin Vas and Kudu Duminda too thrown in, locked and the keys thrown away. Take Bangaladesh for example. Even after decades a former politico with enormous power was eventually executed for wrong doing all those years ago.
no matter who justice should be served no lame excuses can be accommodated all these days the opposition was asking for this, they were making statements saying where are the culprits, there are no culprits if there was why were not they brought to justice, now when justice is slowly served they say this is nothing but political revenge, if one looks at history in Saudi Arabia King Faisal was shot by his brothers son, and was later beheaded no matter what the rest of the world said. King or beggar justice should be same no favoritism should not be given humanity should develop respect for the next person and his property should be strictly observed, its only then the country will develop and prosper, its only then we can call ourselves humans
