Yoshitha suspended from Navy

Lieutenant Yoshitha Rajapaksa who was remanded on charges of money laundering, has been suspended from Naval service with effect from February 28 as directed by the Defence Ministry, the Navy said today.
The Ministry made the order following a request by the Financial Crime Investigation Division (FCID) in order to conduct an independent investigation.
Navy Spokesman Akram Alavi said Yoshitha’s salary and allowances would be halted with immediate effect and he would not be permitted to enter any Naval premises without the approval of the Naval Head Quarters.

The noose is tightening for the clan of clowns! There still seem to be a few ardent supporters though. I can name a few in this blog but they appear to be changing very stubbornly for the good of the country. AUJ and Nicholas Dias were two of the hard core but they appear to have softend and come to their senses now.
My hats off to the Administrator for entertaining liberal views of bloggers which was not the case during MaRa rule when media freedom was a luxury. I salute you.
I think one missing on ur list udurawane, s****** waduge is the culprit.
Your style appeals to the administrators further you seem to be doing a better job Uudurawana maybe the ought to give you a permanent job or appoint you as a free lance reporter.
One thing amiss is that in our culture we do not wear hats and the nearest you can come to is raising your sarama.
you mean name a few bloggers or name few that is Rajapaksa orbit but then some are holding ministerial portfolios and little can be done about them until ranil gets his constitution sorted out. hopefullly then we will have no president and revert back to the electoral pledge pledge of having 20 ministries.
There are problems with the judiciary and magistrates ought to be appointed according to performance and as is there is they dont go beyond the law college except for the few who go through the university! any offers
Ane Zama,
Do not raise your sarama for everyone else to see as there are better things for others to see. Shame on you for being prepared to show your hidden bits! You can raise your shirt instead.
I have been blogging on ONLANKA for years much longer than you and am well aware of the limited ability that the Administrator had during the MaRa rule in publishing liberal views without the white van coming for him/her. Poor Lasantha and others who vanished with no trace of them even now.
I have issues with this Blogger under the Pseudonym Udurawana.
He is definitely deranged; he shows all the signs of a idiotic Sri Lankan of Indian Origin who has zero cultural and moral values. He is a baboon and he is an intellectually disabled person.
I have had enough of him. Just enough and no more of Udurawana’s stupidity.
He contributes nothing to these valuable Onlanka pages; he has problems with all other bloggers.
He appears to be incapable of expressing his own opinion because of his brain degeneration.
He never expresses his own thoughts; he is intellectually bereft of contributions to debate.
Hope the Onlanka bans this idiot’s blogs forever and make this blog site more intellectually appealing to all other bloggers who spend time and effort in valued contributions.
I agree with Peter Ramesh.
This blogger called Udurawana is definite stupid.
He has no opinion to himself; he is only abusing other bloggers.
I do not want him here.
The blogger Udurawana who is a Tamil masquerading under a Sinhala name is psychotic.
As Peter R says Udurawana is in conflict with all other valued bloggers in Onlanka. His contribution to intellectual debate is zilch. Wish he was barred from blogging his stupidity.
Ally u bloggers on Onlanka. There is no need to take things too personal. We all have our difference of views in all matters.
At the end of the day RW, MS and MR are all alike. What we write about does not really effect any one of them and nothing really changes.
So keep on blogging remembering that one man’s food is another man’s poison. And if we all agreed then blogging might even get boring.
udurawan, knows no more of liberal values than that of the conservatives even where you are domiciled, anyway it does not matter for it is most unlikely that you are eligible to vote. Even if he is then he will most likely flip a coin to decide as to how you would vote.
It was a hard choice for Britain to join the EU and harder yet to remain and now the electorate is calling for a referendum as to stay with Europe or not. Regardless there will be little change in its policies nationally or internationally.
You write of the present governments `liberal.’ values yet refers to to one MaRa rather than spell it out?
Peter Ramesh de Silva,
I know exactly who you are dusguising under a multiple of aliases commenting on issues to personally suit you, you culprit. Shame on you. Come clean. Follow Sam Fernando’s wise comments “So keep on blogging remembering that one man’s food is another man’s poison. And if we all agreed then blogging might even get boring”. Well and correctly said Sam. My hats off to to you (not my sarama as Zama suggested!). We are blogging here for the fun of it and to not get personal. Know your common enemy, the MaRa clan. Oooops! sorry as some think otherwise. Let us thrash the current issues out as gentlemen/women. The welfare and progress of Lanka is what is paramount.
Most importantly the admirable Administrator is maintaining a level playing field to ensure blogging entertaining as a break away from our routine work, whatever it is. This was not possible during the MaRa rule unless one was keen in getting a one way ride in a white van!
Hey uruduwana ! This is not a fun site or entertaining blog as u said. Furthermore this site reveals the actual instances island wide. Hence we make some times to look into some breaking news via this and pop some actual and authentic comments and point of our views are not for entertaining you guys. Even more there are some wankers and pimpers who are peeping through here in different names and various ids , commenting harshly and raising racial issues here. As I said earlier in another comment, these wankers hiding in abroad like western and middle east countries working like a slave . Furthermore they were migrated to western countries and working in patrol bunks and huge malls and stores as labourers, and in middle east as drivers and labourers, so here why iam mentioning is, there is a reason in every action and reaction.
This mongoose by the pseudonym Udurawana has is going all out to exterminate Onlanka.
This mongoose Udurawana is focussed on ‘white vanning’ Onlanka; watch the Onlanka blog dying an abnormal death over the coming months.
Hey ashik, Most news items apprearing though real are peculiar to only Lanka and are unreal and funny. Hence the accompanying comments. I have already brought to the notice of the Administrator the pimpers and wankers with various aliases you are refering to. I am not one of them for your information if that is what you are trying to imply as I have a strong backbone. I have been blogging here for many many years with my name. Lots of you come and go but not me. You ought to mind your language and your trap shut under control. Follow Sam Fernando’s wise comments “So keep on blogging remembering that one man’s food is another man’s poison. And if we all agreed then blogging might even get boring”.
Peter Ramesh de Silva,
The Administrator is much smarter than you think in deciding what to publish and what not to. I am speaking through experience. Do not try so hard to influence him. I can see further similar comments following under your multiple aliases! Shame on you to expect others to follow suit. Your are a real turncoat.
“Onlanka blog dying an abnormal death over the coming months” due to me you say. Only in your wildest dreams. Are you living in gaga land? It is one of the best sites with balanced news item. Stop calling people names which you seem to be good at. It does not reflect well on you as a decent human being.
Follow Sam Fernando’s wise comments “So keep on blogging remembering that one man’s food is another man’s poison. And if we all agreed then blogging might even get boring”.
The Udurawana Monster is intent on destroying intellectual debate in the Onlanka blog.
He has indeed, succeeded; unfortunately he will be the only blogger here onwards.
Goodbye Onlanka, may you find joy with the red-nosed clown called Udurawana.
Peter Ramesh de Silva,
Do not pretend to be a decent person and the saviour here when you denigrate others and call them names showing your true qualities. You sometimes comment without realizing the consequences of how hurtful it could be to others. Shame on you. We are all born equal remember. If and when you reincarnate, which I am sure you will, please do have consideration for others feelings before commenting.
Dear Administrator please publish this as it is my honest message to Ramesh. Do edit if you feel is necessary which I do not think is required. Thank you.
